Premier Medical Concierge was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every patient — no matter how complex their condition — deserves expert, unhurried, and deeply personal medical care. We exist to make that a reality for patients across Sacramento, the Bay Area, and the Central Valley.
Our Story
Throughout his career, Dr. Kim witnessed a troubling pattern: patients living with complex rheumatological conditions — especially fibromyalgia — were repeatedly underserved by a healthcare system constrained by time and resources. They waited months for appointments, sat through rushed visits that left their questions unanswered, and left without a clear path forward.
He founded Premier Medical Concierge to change that experience entirely. By bringing care directly into the home — on the patient's terms, at their pace — he created a practice where every patient receives the focused, dignified, and effective attention they deserve.
Meet Dr. Joey Kim, MD
Dr. Joey Kim is a board-certified rheumatologist with more than 12 years of clinical experience treating the full spectrum of autoimmune and chronic pain conditions. Voted one of Sacramento Magazine's Top Doctors every year from 2021 to 2025, he is known for combining recognized clinical excellence with genuine, unhurried compassion.
His approach is truly integrative — blending the precision of Western medicine with the restorative principles of Eastern therapies, including acupuncture, to treat not just the disease but the whole person.
